We found this sighting from 2002, which occured in Frank's Wood, in Cranham, Essex, and the team thought it sounded more like a Woodwose sighting and not a ghost as published......
A black shadowy figure, standing two and a half metres tall with no discernible features, gave chase to a group of friends as they left the wood.
No more information is forth-coming and with no way to find the witnesses, it is hard to get the small details but it was tall, dark and no features were seen.....this matches many of our wildman sightings.
Makes me wonder how many more sightings are missed as people report them as ghost activity or not report them at all. Strange howls and cries, dark figures in the trees, running footsteps, stones and branches thrown. The feeling of being watched or followed and sometimes even shadowed.
