A RESEARCHER says he had an "explosive encounter" with "Bigfoot" - a beast which "moved like an ape" but had human characteristics. David Taylor, 50, has been collecting evidence about the mythical creatures for the last 12 years across Queensland, Australia. He claims he has spotted the hairy creatures, known locally as yowies, "hundreds of times" but says nothing would ever match his first encounter. Mr Taylor first saw the beast at Dularcha National Park, an hour north of Brisbane, in 2008, he told Daily Mail Australia. The father of 11 was reportedly on a bike ride with his ex-partner in the bushland when the couple became lost and he felt something dangerous was nearby. British Bigfoot expert reveals meeting a "massive" man cross ape with a "thickly muscled body covered in hair" has left her and others traumatised. Britain’s biggest Bigfoot buff says meeting an ape-like man when she was a girl has scarred her for life. Deborah Hatswell, 52, is the brains behind British Bigfoot Research which she started after finding no explanation for her life-changing encounter with a beast in the wild. Grandmother of two, Debbie said: “When I was 15 in 1982, I saw something that changed the course of my life and led me on the path I am still on today almost 40 yrs later. “I saw something completely impossible. 40 years on I now know ordinary people witness and experience impossible events the world over and many of those people live here in the UK.”

Famed Sasquatch hunter James “Bobo” Fay and star of television's "Finding Bigfoot" made a stop in Starved Rock Country Saturday as the keynote speaker during a paranormal symposium at Starved Rock Lodge. Fay, who lives in Eureka, Calif., spoke of his many "hunts" that were the focus of his cable channel production that took him and his fellow researchers around the world. "I believe there are many more photos and videos (or unknown creatures) which have yet to be released for various reasons, including personal privacy," said Fay.

More evidence has been received about the Wildman of Watton, Bigfoot of the Forest, the Beast of the A1075, whatever you choose to call the creature that many have seen stalking through the trees near Thetford: Weird Norfolk talked to the woman compiling their stories. I was sitting on the side of the wall of a rather large hollow which consisted of very thick underbrush and lots of evergreen and a larger valley leading to first a clearing and then on to the graveyards explained below. My cousin was with me and we were just sitting there for a spot of trapping small game and hunting anything larger that we may come across. Way up on Holcombe Moor is an Army Training centre and lots of land owned by the M.O.D Posted with danger signs it is not accessible to your average human.  But as this area is very close to the source of the River Irwell along which many British Wildman sightings lie.  I recently got back in touch with the witness to see if they would appear in the new documentary Elusive, but sadly ill health and fear of being identified prevented him from appearing, but he did manage to fill me in a little on some of the details. A seemingly flesh and blood bear was sighted on Hackney Marshes during the 1970s, yet seemed to vanish without trace after a few reports. Rather quirkily, actors Jasper Carrott and Robert Powell, whilst playing ‘The Detectives’ (BBC 1997), hunted a similar creature, in an episode entitled ‘The Beast Of Hackney Marshes’.
