Laura’s Journey South of Cannock Chase

Image
Laura is a new researcher and on her very first steps collecting evidence, she has always had an interest in the American bigfoot and like most of us finds the world as a whole a bit confusing, yet when she walks the woods she feels complete, i think we all understand that, and feel similar to Laura in the very hectic world we live in..  Laura first realised there was a suggestion that the Forest Folk or Bigfoot may be in the UK, so she reached out to me and we were discussing research tips and areas to look for sign, as i'm showing Laura everybody's finds, she points me to a woodland not too far from Cannock Chase on one of the main corridor routes in and out of the Southern end which have all the same signs, now it's only been a few short weeks and Laura has noticed some changes in the area itself and the structures within it.  This area is very close to the Canal and has many smaller woodlands dotted along the route, today's vi...

Isabella's Journal Part3 Schiehallion Faerie Mountain and the missing children legend

Image
Hello Deb, Isabella here from the high hills of Scotland.  I thought I’d try to provide another update as winter closes in.   The local shoot has been in the fields every day since last week – except in the pouring rain when they had to stay by the fire.  So it’s not a time for bigfoot – or me for that matter – to be out and about.  The biggest news from this site is that the landowner in our area, [who had his fences torn down if you recall], has apparently decided it was a fluke or random vandalism and is replacing them all.  I can only predict that next March they’ll be gone again when the clan demand their territory and the right to roam once more.  I suppose we’ll see who wins out.  But I know who I’m betting on anyway. Meanwhile, I thought I’d report on an encounter with a fleeing herd of red deer that happened last spring and might interest your listeners.  First, it’s important to say that in this area, we seldom come acros...

Theres much more to this than the sticks. Bigfoot Research in the UK

Image
It's not about the structures. I have been receiving emails and messages and seeing videos of people who are sick to death of stick signs and structures, or are worried they posted the wrong kind of structure as they are learning what to look for, and what to discount, (its by getting it wrong and making mistakes we learn) nobody gets it right the first time out, and to be honest it can take years to hone your skills to see the subtle differences, and i think i need to take some time to explain, where the structures come into play and why we should eventually be leaving them behind unless that is where your interest lies. The wildman/bigfoot subject as a whole is a well rounded subject with roles for all skill sets and interest, with the research comes a learning curve, and a whole host of questions.  I call these the frequently asked questions, we all have them, believers, skeptics and people on the fence. What Are they? Where do they live? Do we have enough land...

Morpeth Mystery Screams and Structures 2003 follow up 2017

Image
Witness Statement: Borough Woods is a small area in the north east of england, not far from Morpeth and I guess about ten miles, maybe less from Bolam Country Park. Fields and small woods follow the River and it is an area close to the country parks.  I am a fellow interested researcher and work in the area itself. So naturally, being an avid FT reader and being so close to Bolam, I was regaling a couple of my colleagues with the story of "the beast" as nobody, except one or two of the local project officers, had heard of it.  Explaining the sightings from witnesses and the area itself.  At the end of the first day's work, we were heading back to base on foot as it was a lovely evening, we were walking along the River Wansbeck, when there was the oddest noise from up the top of the site where we had been working just minutes before. I can only describe it as a tremendous scream, but it didn't sound like any animal I've ever heard and it didn't sound ...
