Dogmen Reports from across the UK

Image
I have been asked this week about the British Dogman accounts, and i have to admit like most people i know very little about them.  I have heard many theories and ideas on who and what they are, i myself am unsure and don't feel qualified to answer the question, but what i can do i think is to share the reports i have, and anyone wanting to research them can then do so as they wish.  It is a tricky subject here in the UK due to the odd lie and exaggeration by some untrustworthy people, but when the truth is told, this amounts to nothing more than hearsay and half truths. And leaves us with valid witness accounts just like the Wildman accounts that come in. The people with the accounts are the ones we should listen too, and like all subjects it is easy to fear the unknown and to demonise the things we don’t understand. It’s by opening up to all the possibilities that we can start to pick away at the truths, like the Wildman research, we can only go off what we see and he...

Stowe-by-Chartley A Huge Chimp? 1986

Image
Stafford, Staffordshire ST18, UK Late one evening in September 1986, Mick Dodds and his wife were driving his mother-in-law back to her home, which was a small but picturesque cottage Staffordshire, England in the village of Stowe-by-Chartley.  All was completely and utterly normal until Dodds passed by the ancient and ruined Chartley Castle that overlooks the A518 road when something terrible and terrifying put in an unearthly appearance… Mr Dodds says that after dropping his mother-in-law off at her home, he and his wife began the journey back to their own house, and what they assumed would be a stress-free, night-time drive through Staffordshire’s countryside. How wrong the pair was, what they witnessed that night is something neither of them will forget. Mr Dodd explained, that as they drove along the road, at the side of Chartley Castle, he was forced to violently and suddenly slam on the brakes as a huge stag ambled slowly – yet majestically, too – across the roa...

The Horse Shoe Pass Standing Bear 2007

Image
Witness Account: The other night two of my friends were driving home over the Horseshoe Pass towards Ruthin 1 mile past the Ponderosa cafe and they stopped to tend to an owl in the road which was still alive, they put the owl to the side of the road and continued on, then as they were accelerating away, what they described to me as a "bear with long forearms and walking on all 4s" came out of the hedge on the right hand side of the road.  They said it was as tall as me if it stood up on its hind legs. I'm not convinced with sightings like this but they were absolutely adamant it was a bear. They went around the area asking people if they had strange pets which had got loose somehow. I thought they might have just seen a cow or a black sheep but they said it was at least 6 foot tall, both of them saw it, and I was wondering if there have been any other sightings of such a creature around these areas, in specific I would like to know if any farmers have had large amou...
