Christian and Patch Prt 3 The Following Footprints

Image
The encounters at Paull seemed to be intensifying as if this thing was 'testing' us. Seeing how far it could go. This particular night we had lots of snow in Hull and the Paull area. By the time we got to our spot down Newlands lane the snow was a couple inches deep at least but it had stopped. My memory is hazy but i believe it was either late 02 or very early 03.  Our routine and sightings of 'it' had taken over the pool games. Now we didn't go out for pool as such but more to experience this...whatever it was. Driving down the lane turning round and then pulling over in the passing place on the left had become routine although the snow bound road and countryside gave a different dimension to things.  The most obvious being everything was much 'brighter'  It was cold and very quiet as I let Patch back in the boot.  We sat in the car, windows half down having our smokes talking in low voices. Watching the bend in the road ahead carefully, ears pricked for...

Christian and Patch Prt 2 The Figure in the Road

Image
For part 1 see What did the dog see?)  We continued to visit Newland lane with Patch but he would only come out of the boot if we stayed out of the car with him, in a way it was quite comical, looking back on it. He would quickly run to a spot nearby, have a wee, whilst watching us closely, making sure we didn’t get back in without him, and then run back to the car and jump in the boot. Shortly after his ‘fright night’ we had parked up at the passing place, Patch had already been out and we were talking and having a smoke. The topic of conversation was what could have scared him that night, he would never be that afraid of any person so we decided upon an animal he had never seen before, you hear about these big cats being sighted in the countryside, maybe it was one of those? I had almost finished my cig when I noticed Jon had gone quiet, I looked and saw he was staring straight ahead at a bend in the road about 150-yds away. I followed his gaze to where he was looking. It ...

Christian and Patch Prt 1 What did the Dog see? Paull, Hull, 2002/3

Image
I have been in contact recently with a gentleman by the name of Christian who has had some experiences in the past he wanted to share with me, he isn't making any claims, merely a strange set of circumstances that have left him with questions he cant answer and the need to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this in this area or anywhere else in the UK. This encounter took place near a village called Paull, several miles north east of the city of Hull. The year was 2002/03.

Autumns Diary Prt 2 little folk and stones? Cornish Piskies

Image
I don't know why I haven't mentioned this before but I'd like to give an account of a possible encounter I had back in 2007.  It was the beginning of April and I had been visiting Somerset and Cornwall with a friend.  On the night of my encounter, we were in St Austell, staying at a B&B right on the beach.  We walked to the local pub for an evening meal and this took us parallel to the beach.  We had to go through a large and busy caravan site and along a path next to fenced-off piece of land with a pond/lake on it - this was right next to the caravan site.  During the meal, my friend and I sadly had a bit of a falling out; and feeling tired and unhappy, I decided to head back to the B&B on my own early.  I felt really down.  As I passed the area where the pond/lake was, I could hear ducks making a din.  Suddenly, something came whizzing out of nowhere and struck me on the shoulder.  It didn't hurt and I couldn't see what it was ...

Isabella's Journal part 4 The Giant Returns for a Short Visit, Cherry Whips and Snow

Image
Hi Deb, Just a short note to say that this morning I had to go out and I had headed to the Village to mail Christmas packages in time for the Xmas post. When I returned, to my surprise there were a couple of whip-ends of cherry branches laid against the front door. They were very delicate fronds with a few dried leaves still attached to them. I had done a clear-up on the weekend to take up the last of the Autumn rubble and leaves, so I knew it was all neat and tidy out there meaning these whip ends stood out plainly as having been placed on the door sill. In fact, there are no cherry trees about and these had to have been "imported." I am unsure where they came from.

Is the Hard Stand Monster or the Standing Wolf at Raf Alconbury a British Bigfoot ?

Image
This account was kindly passed to me by Chris L. Huff writer and researcher of all thing strange who came across the story when researching accounts for his work into the paranormal accounts across the UK. Witness Statement: I almost fell out of my chair when I read your intriguing story and the account of the “hard stand” monster at RAF Alconbury. Just tonight, my father shared with me his stories about this base and it prompted me to do the internet search that brought me to your message. I think you’ll find my father’s experiences at this air force base in the early 1970s very interesting. He was the NCOIC of a group of 3 men and their dogs, charged with guarding bunkers within a large, fenced area. I believe that nuclear warheads were stored beneath many of these bunkers. One foggy night my father got a radio call that there was an intruder within the perimeter and shots were fired.

Kielder Forest - Continuing Accounts

Image
Early November 2017: I was contacted today by a gentleman from the outdoors community whom I have known for many years. I have a great respect for him and I have come to trust and value his opinion in regards to structures found or witness reports. We chat back and forth on occasion by email, and today he passed on the details of another outdoors man (S.B.) who has been having some strange experiences in Kielder Forest. I will add his YouTube channel so you can view the areas in question.

The 'Vulture Man' of the Malvern Hills and Other accounts

Image
An interesting sighting worthy of a second glance... Two couples who were hill walking had a terrifying experience with an odd creature, which was later described as a Vulture or Eagle man. Here is the account in the words of a man who passed on the tale.

Loughton Camp Ambresbury Banks, Epping, Strange Happenings in the Woods

Image
Ambresbury Banks between the Wake arms Roundabout and Epping is another late Iron Age earthwork in the area of Loughton, where I spent much of my teenage years. The fort encompasses an area of 4.5 hectares (11 acres) and is surrounded by a bank of up to 2 m in height, and an impressive ditch in places, which today is quite shallow but once was up to three metres deep and six metres wide.  The site has been examined archaeologically 9 times, the first excavation conducted by Augustus Pitt-Rivers in 1881. The defences today have 6 major breaks in their circumference: only one appears to be original. This is approached from the north west by a trapezoidal causeway. The ends of the bank at this point were revetted with coursed pudding stone blocks.

Mike's Werewolf Journal.. 7 A Hunting Werewolf and the Tall man of Four Barrows

Image
Date- 18.11.17 Search area- Zone 1 Weather- Drizzle, rain, overcast (grey cloud cover) but with good visibility Temp- 6.5c Comments Today ’ s object was to search zone 1 and try and find the adolescent Werewolf that has been popping up now and again for the last two months and that I’ve photographed on two occasions, alas one of these photos I deleted by mistake. General I had a good look around at first, as usual there was no Bird song and the woods had a heavy presence of being watched, something I have started getting used to but I’m still very nervous when I'm out researching. Anyway today was a day of an unexpected event, and something happened similar to the 12.2.17 incident with the Deer, I was out there for a while and after some time, I'm not sure how long, I decided to stop for a cup of coffee, so I’m stood in the drizzle with flask in hand just enjoying the rain and the day and I suddenly noticed three large Deer walking at the edge of the w...

The Bigfoots of Churston Woods and a Green Faced Ape Devon 1996

Image
It was the summer of 1996 when people in the Torbay village of Churston, Devon, started to report seeing a Bigfoot-like beast in the dense, creepy woodland. What were these people experiencing? Was it a Bigfoot? Was it all a hoax? Was it mass-hallucination? We here at British Bigfoot Research hoped to find out when we visited the area last year. The sightings of the creature lasted for around six weeks.  Up to fifteen witnesses came forward with their sightings. The Creature was described as being around five feet tall, had brown hair covering its’ body and was described as having a green face.  The witnesses stated that the hominid didn’t have a tail. The height of around five feet rules out that this was an escaped pet monkey. On two occasions the being was seen swinging from tree branches. So, what was this being? Could Churston Woods really be hiding the British Bigfoot? We have no reason to suspect that the witnesses were lying and also rule out that th...

Werewolf Logs Mikes Research parts.. 6 Men In Blue

Image
General comments (Written on the 1.10.17 in the evening) Note- Yesterday, on the 30.9.17, I was looking at some photos taken on my mobile phone and on one of them I noticed a Werewolf looking at me in between some trees, but at the time I was out there I didn’t see anything or even sense anything, this was in zone 2, so i looked at the pictures from zone 1 as i noticed when i was there was a young Werewolf up in the trees just sort of sat there with not a care in the World, and I took a photo of course, i couldn't wait to see if i had a picture of him. But when I got home and I had downloaded them onto my PC, I'm looking through the shots from that day and then I started deleting some which I thought weren’t of any value and much to my annoyance I deleted the one with the Werewolf in the tree. 1.10.17- Today was just a small search effort in zone 1 I was hoping to find the young Werewolf up in the trees that was in the photograph, but no luck what so ever. I s...

A Red Haired Yeti and a Young Girls Tale Autumns Words

Image
Autumn is a lady that views things in a different way to many people out there, she likes to look around corners and outside the box,, she trusts her instincts and follows her gut, and after some eye opening experiences as a child, has accepted the world is not all it seems and in doing so has found her place in the world, and is willing to share her experiences for anyone going through the same or similar things, i was honoured when Autumn reached out to me, as i feel she has the same wants and ideas as myself, and many of the people who also chat to me most days, so for now i will bring you a small excerpt from Autumn's world and over the coming winter months we can learn what shaped her as a child, and her journey through the years to where she is now, and hopefully we can walk a while along with her and learn from her wise and open mind. Autumn's Words: I first came across the concept of the Forest People when I was about 6.  There used to be a programme on TV call...

The Ghost Lights on the Cloddy Moss

Image
These lights in the area of Culbin forest seem to turn up year after year around this time, they have been seen in the daylight, at dawn, they can be seen with your eye and on camera, they are mostly white or bluish white in colour but can change to a deeper blue, orange and even red have been seen, as the years have gone on we have tried many ways to work out what they are or what the source is, they seem to very small up close but much bigger if they are seen from afar, there is no natural swamp gas will-o-the-wisp at play as the lights seem to be ball like in shape and emit a light of their own. So from around September to January the lights are photographed by a lady who walks her dogs there, and like me she finds them interesting and would like to try and understand what they are? Or where they come from? They seem to move in a fluid motion unlike a bug, as they can be seen in the daylight hours also??  This year they have also appeared on a n...
