Swain County, North Carolina LOCATION DETAILS: Needmore Road is off of highway 74 West. Travel SW on Needmore road to the location I want to report a sighting of a huge Bigfoot. As my husband and I often do, we were taking a short cut across the mountain here in western NC, heading home. As I was driving along the river, there was a very strange looking, what I thought was an odd looking man, and as we passed it, I said to my husband, " That is a strange looking person," and as I looked into the rear view mirror, it stood up on the road and was watching us driving away, and that is when I realized what it really was. A video taken back in 2013 is making news again after renewed interest. As we know there are many Bigfoot, Yeti and Almasty Reports in Russia and many videos claiming to have caught them unawares. There is one that I have never been able to determine one way or another whats moving in the film. The figure can be seen moving in the trees as it crosses a woodland clearing.  Filmed by two Russian citizens you can see the 'creature' has a very unique way of moving. I can not tell you if this is a legitimate Almasty, An escaped Ape or a trick of the eye, but I do like the way the 'figure' moves.  It seems to have huge shoulders and thick legs which it uses to move at great speed across the clearing, almost with a leaping and swinging motion. It does look thick muscled, and heavily built, almost a cross between a Chimpanzee and a Gorilla. Witness Account from Francois de Sarre I'm from the States. We've been over here for exactly two years since 2000. We live just outside of Blackburn in the Ribble Valley. I've always had a fascination for these Hominid creatures. I've had visuals only in the western part of the states. Every State and province (Canada) has them, except Wash. D.C. They're known by many names in the US, but the most common two names are BF and Sasquatch. In the July 31st, 2013 issue of the Delta Discovery, we published a story about a Hairy Man sighting that took place in April of this year in the village of Napakiak. The story this week is about the same Hairy Man, but from the perspective of two children who witnessed the creature. It was late April 2013, and two brothers age 16 and 12 were outside in their village of Napakiak. They could see the bluff on the other side of Napakiak Slough and it was there that they saw the creature. It was very large, approximately 9 feet in height and black coloured, said the 16 year old. “It was taller than a human and very black, just standing in the open,” he said.

Here at BBR I am pleased to say we have had a number of American and Canadian members join our Research group, and today we added the first international pins to the map. The new members like most of us are looking for reports of creatures in their State or City. One of the areas I wanted to take a look at is an Island just of the coast of Washington State. Bainbridge Island is host to a number of Sasquatch/Bigfoot sightings, if you are from the area you will no doubt recognise the places mentioned. From bountiful food resources, to areas of Wild Forest, it is no wonder there are so many reported sightings on the Island. I was able to trace around 22 accounts starting from the 1950''s. For roughly the past 50 years, a series of wooded trails and minimum maintenance roads between Maplewood State Park and Vergas, Minn., have produced some of the region’s eeriest sightings, ranging from robe-clad cults to shifting paths and whispering trees. As many locals will attest, though, the most famous of these legends is the Sasquatch or Bigfoot-like creature said to roam those parts, where it’s known as the Vergas Hairy Man. Witnesses of the Hairy Man typically describe the creature as a large hominoid or ape that scavenges the forests and terrorises the residents. Given its size, standing somewhere between 6 and 9 feet tall and weighing more than 300 pounds, and its propensity to chase humans and roar, it elicits a fair amount of terror.

When Donald watches the Discovery Channel, especially programs about the unexplained or mysterious wildlife, he sometimes gets the urge to call his brother-in-law, Frank. He and Frank talk, said Donald (who didn’t want his last name or the name of his village used) and Frank gets sombre and quiet. It’s at those times they remember. They remember the night more than 25 years ago, and the creature that stood a good four feet above their teenage frames in the early winter moonlight. They remember the long arms, the body covered in thick hair, the face with features that were somehow human, somehow not. They remember its strength. “I remember watching when he was running through the alders in the moonlight,” Donald recalled. “And we have a lot of alders here. He was sweeping them aside and running at the same time.”

A mystery creature is haunting the streets of Texas . Described by some terrified witnesses as a monkey, by others as a chimpanzee and as “anything’s possible” by police, a sense of apprehension is spreading. The unidentified humanoid has been repeatedly spotted in the city of Santa Fe , with one witness claiming they saw the beast attempt to snatch a cat. The alarm was first raised in the early hours of Monday, when a woman named Patricia de la Mora called the police to say she had seen some kind of primate causing pandemonium on the corner of 24th and East Bellaire streets in the south west of the city. She had apparently been woken up after midnight by thunder and lightning, and after urging her husband to look out of the window when she heard “strange noises”, eventually got out of bed herself, opened the curtains and was “paralysed by fear”. “I look out the window and I see it was in there. It was a monkey, a big one,” she told US news outlet  KVUE .

I think maybe we have a relic hominid on our hands, of no thats just the uggo babies. I was sent this very strange article through email and I wanted to share this with you guys as its a little mind blowing, I have heard peoples strange theories into our hairy folk and there origin. But abandoned ugly babies is a new one even for me. Help us to investigate these cases, in the field or online.
