In the Hills of Lothian there is an area called Ravenscraig which is known mostly as The Knock Forest, said to be old fairy land with a reputation of being haunted, I feel this maybe a case for the Cryptozoology researchers rather than the Paranormal experts as  strange figures were spotted and reported not too long ago by different witnesses. One Figure was seen running in the forest by a family out for a drive, this Man-like Creature travelled at an estimated speed of 70 miles per hour. There are also a number of UFO sightings and one account of a terrifying abduction. Witness Report - I had an experience with a big black cat in February last year during that unseasonal hot weather we had. It was about a mile outside Kings Nympton around 3 o'clock in the afternoon whilst walking my Labrador.  I had never really thought about it before but after I spent weeks going through the internet hoping for more information I still check now and again if there's any more sightings in the area. One of the most interesting things I found whilst searching the internet was a list of all the big cats escaped, killed or captured in the U.K it proves that they are out there. Looking at the area I would presume to suggest the cat may have used the River Mole as a route. There is plenty of cover in the area, it is scattered with farmers fields, long grassy meadows and lots of small wooded areas, Ideal for a large cat to move around unseen. It had a huge tail and disappeared in the blink of an eye. A dark mysterious creature ran across a country lane last night, prompting some to question whether the legendary 'Beast of Bodmin' is on the prowl. Reports of big cats roaming around Cornwall are nothing new, with hundreds of sightings recorded over the years. This latest feral feline was spotted near Fowey. One woman posted on a Facebook community page yesterday evening saying a large dark animal ran out in front of her. She said: "Driving home tonight and a huge, what I thought was, a black dog ran out in front of my car near the Fowey cross turning. I had to brake hard not to hit it but now thinking it might be a black panther as it had a huge tail and long legs, very muscular." She added: "How I didn’t hit it I’ll never know. Lots of cars in front and behind me so like to know if they saw it too. "It was so quick too."
