Many years ago in an old forum online I came across this report, I have tried to contact the original witness through this site which I think has now close. Over the years I would look for him on other sites hoping he had posted there too. I would love to get in touch with him if possible as there are a number of things I think I can help him with. When I was a boy myself and my Brother used to live on a country estate called Holbeck Manor, it was an extremely old manor house steeped in history and very close to a Viking burial ground in Lincolnshire. To get to the Manor you would have to go down along driveway which is about a mile and a half long. Half way down this driveway there is a stone bridge with a stream on one side and a lake and boat house on the other. Most of the drive had wooded areas running along it, then the lake and to the back there were woods. Our first encounter occurred at this bridge on a snowy Winters morning. Many years ago now and I mean years ago. I decided to go camping just as teenagers do, I went with a few mates. Now I am 51 but I can still remember that night clearly. Things did not start well, and we got the directions where we should of been going wrong so we didn't end up in the Lake district but in a place called Alston. It was really remote and we walked along the river bank for miles. There was nothing around and we were miles from anywhere by the time we set up the tent. One of the Witnesses to the British Bigfoot/Wildman has today made a video of his account in Epping Forest in 1974.  NE Wildman Research had an experience back then with a friend when they were fishing in the Blackweir pond area. Known to locals as The Lost Pond or even The Suicide Pond it is an eerie place to be in the daytime, let alone at night with only a pocket knife for protection.
