Deborah Hatswell - BBR Investigations

PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN BY UK RESEARCHER NEIL YOUNG By anyone's standards, this photo will be labelled as a "Blobsquatch" but it is very interesting all the same. Taken up in Neil Young's research area Harwood Forest, in Northumberland, this is what was captured. The figure is dark all over, with a stooped over posture. While it is impossible to tell what it is, the fact is that Neil and others have seen Bigfoot-type creatures at this location and it does look Woodwose-like. What it shows, nobody knows. But this is just one of many encounters up in Harwood.

This is a sighting from our map, and it took place in 1970. The report came to British Bigfoot Research in 2015. This is the account in the eyewitness's own words: "About 45 years ago I was with my then-girlfriend, parked on a forestry road at the junction of Langdykes Brae, Porters Brae and the road to Cults. This junction is about 1-5 miles from Kenoway in Fife. I was parked about 300 yards up the Torloisk forestry road and the trees to the left of me had been cut down for  about 50 yards into the forest and stacked up at the side of the forestry road. There was a full moon and you could see right across the clearing to the standing trees and my then-girlfriend said she saw something moving in the clearance, to which I said it would be a fox or deer. After a while I fell asleep until my girlfriend shook me awake and said there was something moving behind the stacked trees next to the car. A very interesting witness account to look back on: "My dog is a very large American Akita. She is big and pretty strong as they were trained fighting dogs. However, she is very lazy. She spends most of the day laying down not doing anything and I had NEVER heard her growl at anybody, let alone bark. When I actually walked down into the park as usual I let her on the long lead and I walk around a bit where I usually stand next to the climbing frame as she walks and sniffs around. It was a very dark night. The moon was hidden by clouds and I couldn't see many stars. Other than the allotments on the side where the path leading into the park is, all other sides of the park are covered by woods and trees. The park is roughly circular and about 20x20 meters. An account from Brenda, a lady who saw something in Buile park in Manchester in 1984. Brenda is the second witness to see something in this park, the first being our very own  Debbie Crossley Hatswell . This account also has some interesting features described: "I was 30 years old.I was walking my dog there and it was freezing cold and I was having a cigarette. It was dark at that time of year at 5pm and I thought I was alone in the park as it is usually shut then but this particular night it was open. I was smoking when movement to my left caught my eye. There was nearby light and I saw this tall thing there. It looked about 6 foot tall and was quite podgy. It had a bit of a belly on it. What got me right away was that it was bare feet. Hi i would like to report an incident, that up until now i have only told to family.  But here goes... I was on my way to Northwich in Cheshire last spring when my land rover broke down, we were in countryside next to a large stately home I used to work for called Tatton Estates. Just me and my dog in the car and we had to wait on this country road between to woods for the rescue truck, well the sun went down and l turned my lights on so any other traffic could see the car (no street lights) it began to rain and my dog kept looking out into the woods to our left. He was whining but we had been in the car now two hours so l put it down to that, just then a thing (i have no clue what it was) crossed the road right at the edge of the trucks light, l could only just see it crawl like it was on its belly, across the road and over into the woods on the other side, it was fur covered, light Brown or just Brown but as it was so dark and l could only just see it, I assume it was ligh...
