Kinder Scout Footsteps 2014

Image
Witness report:2014 i was Camped on top of kinder scout one night in the peak district near to a ww2 bomber crash site and awoke to here someone or something walking right next to my tent at about 4am, but i was too cold and tired to have a look what it was... Also same bomber crash site but another night and experienced by a friend not myself, he awoke in the middle of the night needing a pee lol and when he got out of his tent it was very smoky and all the heather around appeared to be and smelled burnt but he thought nothing of it, in the morning he got out of his tent and the was no smoke or smell or any evidence of any of the heather being burnt... Up on Edale Moor, close to the south-eastern flanks of Kinder Scout can be found the remains of a World War 2 bomber. It's quite tricky to find if you don't have a grid reference and GPS device. And that's before you even consider negotiating the deep, damp groughs in the area. But it's this particular part of the mo...

The Yorkshire footprints

Image
Hello Everyone. Adam Bird asked me to relate this. First let me say that I have been a researcher of the American Sasquatch since 1963 and I am an Admin for several BF FB groups. However that should have no bering on my credibility in writing this account. Back in the late 1960's I was stationed for a short time in the UK at an RAF/USAF base. I became friends with one of the RAF personnel who had parents living in the north of England in Yorkshire. One night in a pub ove r more than a few pints I related to him my first Class A sighting in Michigan in '63. He immediately told me his parents had seen very large footprints (18"+) on their property and invited me to come home with him during a long weekend. His parents lived on a very large, heavily wooded piece of property west of the city of York. The driveway to the house was more than 500 meters long and the house itself could not be seen from the road. Very thick woods on both sides of the drive made the area dark ...

Englands Black Dog Legends

Image
Whilst researching Wildman and woodwoose sightings, i come across many Large Black Dogs accounts their descriptions similar in each account with red or sometimes yellow eyes, They seem to be witnessed by ordinary people on what seems a regular basis. Some are described as on all fours or up on two legs, hairy and appear and disappear quickly. They come from all areas of the country and go by many names, across the uk from Wolfman to Shuck, padfoot and bogey and many more regional names. I have listed a few of the accounts here for your enjoyment and who knows, you may be the next witness..... Cannock Chase. A report that altleast 17 dogman sightings have been reported on the chase, The has been put together by Lionel Fanthorpe – who’s a leading figure in paranormal research – by studying police reports and archives of groups who explore ghostly and unexplained events.Sightings The survey shows that a paranormal group visited Cannock Chase in 1975 with several of them claiming th...

The Hairy Thing of Great Bookham 2008

Image
I was walking with my dad and dog over Norbury Park, in Great Bookham, Surrey (the track that ajoins dorking road and Crabtree Lane). We were watching foxes playing in the field, when I noticed a large dog shaped figure in the middle of the track. It was large, at least 3-4 foot high, very shaggy looking and had brown fur. it was quite blurry.I tried to scare it off, as I was scared it would be nervous and attack it. But my dad could not see it and our own dog was not fussed. I thought it was a trick of the light, so tried my dad's glases but it remained. We walked towards it and it remained till I was about 2 meters from it. It never became clear it remained a blurry aparation. Were it was for about 5 meters was icy cold. even my dad who really doesnt believe in these things said so. It was like walking into a freezer. We walked on, and looking back I could see it again about 3 meters away. it remained the entire time. I stayed and patted a horse with my dad up the track before tu...

Angmering West Sussex Bigfoot nov 2015

Image
Caroline Toms, 34, managed to take a grainy image of the huge ape-like beast that she claims ran across her path as she was with border collie Ash. Ash was the first to spot something was amiss last Tuesday as they walked through Angmering Park Estate in Arundel, West Sussex. Caroline, from nearby Littlehampton, said: "It all happened so fast. Ash started acting a little bit bemused and barking. "Then she quick as a flash shot off into the undergrowth - then I saw this big black thing flash out in front of me. "I only had my camera out because I was taking pictures of Ash playing. "She came running back quick as a flash though. "I don't know what it was, but when I had a closer look at the pictures, it certainly does look like Bigfoot to me." The building society worker said the incident was over in seconds, and she has no idea what it is that she photographed - but won't rule out the mythical North American ape-like creature. She ...
