A Shadow Being In Our Bedroom

"When I was a young boy of about age 6 or 7 I saw a shadow being. I seem to think it was likely 1978 when I was age 6. I was living in a place called Portsdown Park, which was on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth, Hampshire. Portsdown Park was completely demolished in 1986 because all the buildings were made with poor quality material.

It was in the middle of the night in a bedroom I shared with my younger sister. I had woken up and the room was dark. The being was laying face up on top of my sister's bed which was only a few feet away from my bed. I could see the facial profile, particularly the nose, as the being was looking straight up at the ceiling. My sister's bed had square headboards at both ends. The Shadow being must have been about 7 foot tall as its head was on the pillow, and its legs were hanging over the bottom headboard. I noticed it had a short, cropped ponytail.


I called over to my sister, but I could only see the being. It turned its head to look at me. That terrified me, and I immediately edged my leg out of bed and screamed my way out of the room to our parents bedroom. My sister was already in their bed. So she had gotten up at some point to be in our parents bed.

My Dad reassured me I was safe. I never saw that being again."

My sister, nor my parents saw the shadow being. And I never saw it again.

When I was 11 or 12, and then living in Copnor, Portsmouth, I heard that the Romans had been to Portsdown Hill a long time ago.

In 2016 I heard of a report from 1930 that a skeleton of over 7ft had been found on Portsdown Hill.

Maybe the shadow being I saw was not a Roman, but a native giant person. Who knows, perhaps the being is of someone before or after the Romans in Britain?

Dogmen Reports from across the UK

I have been asked this week about the British Dogman accounts, and i have to admit like most people i know very little about them.  I have heard many theories and ideas on who and what they are, i myself am unsure and don't feel qualified to answer the question, but what i can do i think is to share the reports i have, and anyone wanting to research them can then do so as they wish.  It is a tricky subject here in the UK due to the odd lie and exaggeration by some untrustworthy people, but when the truth is told, this amounts to nothing more than hearsay and half truths. And leaves us with valid witness accounts just like the Wildman accounts that come in. The people with the accounts are the ones we should listen too, and like all subjects it is easy to fear the unknown and to demonise the things we don’t understand.
