The Grace Duie Priory Beast

Image
My sister and my three friends are going back to limby hall lane at night to investigate the earlier sighting. On Chatting my friend we realised that her uncle saw the same thing as me and my sister witnessed in the road, this time it was walking along the grass verge at night. His account is almost exactly the same as mine in exactly the same area and stretch of road.. Just opposite Grace Dieu Priory he also saw a crouched dark figure, no face could be seen as the figure was so hunched over, with an arched back, it was coming towards him almost heading for his car, this was at the junction opposite the ruins. He turned left and sped off quickly towards loughborough, Now he will never drive past the area and avoids it at all times. This is clearly that needs looking into further. And i will keep you updated on any further information that comes in.

The New Forest Gorilla

Image
Thank you to Daphne for allowing ‘British Bigfoot Research’ to share her grandfather’s sighting in the New Forest in Hampshire. This is the story in her own words: ‘The New Forest in Hampshire, where my Grandparents took us picnicking when I was a child (I am 67 now)...Grandpa told my brother, sister & I "not to wander too far off, I've just seen what looks like a big black Gorilla, like Alfred (Alfred was the famous London Zoo Gorilla at that time)...Granddad was off taking a pee in the woods, he came back & warned us 3 kids to stay close to the family. It was after we had a drive from the Dormy hotel/restaurant... We now know that he must have seen a Bigfoot, and it may have thought Gramps was 'marking his territory'’ Thanks again Daphne for sharing with the group. Although Daphne now lives half way around the world this account from her childhood clearly had an affect on her, on checking the map, the area around this account has many other strange ...

The Slindon Growl 86/87 needsan update

Image
Witness Account:My late Grandpa and Grandma had a pumpkin farm in Slindon, near Arundel in West Sussex. We visited them 6-8 times a year and from a young age myself and 3 siblings helped out with harvesting, chopping wood, serving customers and we used to explore the village and surrounding area. I was 7-8 at the time so would have been 1986-1987 at the start of autumn. I was the youngest at 7-8 and the eldest was 12-13 at the time. All 4 of us were in a patch of woods opposite the local college playing with sticks, sword fighting with them and using them as walking sticks and looking for squirrels. We were very nature orientated kids and were very sensible children. While playing with our sticks we heard what I could only describe as a Lions roar at the time and at that age. It came from the right of us from where we were stood, it sounded close between 15-20 foot away. I still remember the sound to this day and can describe it in more detail than I could then. It was ver...

The Dog Acted Strange Sept 2016

Image
The following was posted in BeastWatch UK yesterday by a gentleman named Tom. Although he doesn't believe in the British Bigfoot, he said I was more than welcome to share his story. Liam Dorricott 17/8/2016 "Bit of a strange 1 this morning whilst our training the pup.We went to a new place today, high up on the mountain. Thick conifer plantation with wide open heath land. Lots of white grass, reeds and sedges, ideal ground. Anyways, parked up and walked the short distance up the forestry track. A few simple retrieves into the woods etc all going fine. Out on to the heathland and a lovely training session. But then it all went funny, sent teal out for a nice marked retrieve.. picked no problem at all, then on her way back to me she just stopped dead in her tracks spat the dummy out and started staring and growling into the woods just behind me. Now anybody who knows teal will know her only downfall is her obsession with retrieving, nothing else matters until that dum...

The Ebchester Eyes October 2016

Image
This sighting, of a set of strange eyes, came to us via the Mysterious Britain website. It features two fellows, Liam and Carl, and their strange encounter during drive after a night out. It happened in Ebchester, County Durham, in October 2009. Here is the account in the words of witness, Liam: “ Well, Basically a friend and I were leaving the pub but not quite ready to hit the hay.So we jump in my car and go for a little adventure and decide to go down a road we've always wondered about. It’s 1 in the morning so it’s full beams all the way until we come to these 2 isolated abandoned houses and then my buddy (Carl) shouts for me to stop and all he does is just gaze at this old doorway.Around 7 feet off the ground are 2 eyes, unmistakable by the way they were set. Anyway the fear hit us like a tonne of bricks travelling at 1000 mph!I turn the car slightly so the beams hit the door and this figure just shot off like nothing ever known, its reaction was so fast I promise you. C...

Chilham Kent Structures and Howls September 2016

Image
This is account was reported by one of the group members Edward Hatfield 17/9/16   This happened in the woods just to the south east of the village. The other day I was walking my dog when I came upon a clearing with a number of hut-like structures, (I couldn’t get close up to them because of a barbed wire fence and didn’t have my phone to take pictures, though I might do this soon).  On the way out I heard a very clear wood knock coming from deeper in (though not from where the structures were).  About 20 minutes later I heard a weird mumbling coming from the same area (freaked me out enough that I got the hell out of there and haven’t been back since). The second weird event happened the other night when me and my mother were sat out in our garden by a fire.  Coming from the direction of the same forest we heard screaming that sounded almost identical to this:  youtube.com/watch?v=N_wAz5T4Udg .  I’ve lived my whole life in the countryside, so i know w...

Claw Marks Attack Westmorland July 2015

Image
"Claws for Concern?" As he walked home from a friends house in the dark on 9th July 2015, hotel worker Nich Boden, 26, was knocked unconscious in remote woodland between Coniston and Hawkshead in Westmorland. He came to with a deep 5in gouge on his left shoulder and apparent claw marks on his forearm. "All I really remember was being h it from my front right and because I smacked my head when I fell it was all a bit hazy after," he said. He told FT: "The various cuts and scratches were of interest because there was no barbed wire around, or anything obvious that could have caused them. I contacted the local paper because there had been a big cat sighting in the area the week before and I thought that my experience might be relevant. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that it was a cat I encountered, although it could have been a deer, which are known to bolt forward and knock people over when startled". It certainly looked as if he had been att...
