UFO' Strange Figures & The Stonehenge Connection

On 18 November 1990 a young couple had been visiting relatives, and were driving home at about 8:30 that night. They decided to stop off and have a look at Stonehenge. The couple noticed an eerie orange light coming from a clump of trees nearby. The light emerged and began to track their car as they approached the stones.

As they neared the stones the car headlights illuminated a band of fog and when they got out of the car, all was still. They then noticed a dark figure standing next to one of the stones, about 7ft tall, almost as broad and completely black and featureless. 

This figure then began to plod purposefully towards them stomping it's feet heavily. Understandably, the couple ran back to their car. The figure kept on coming though and reached the car just as the couple drove off.

The county of Wiltshire, where Stonehenge is located, is known as a "UFO hotspot," with numerous sightings recorded over the years. And some people in the know say Stonehenge was built by aliens, or is in some way connected with extra-terrestrial intelligence. 

In June 2015 just before Solstice a “huge black disc” visited the Wiltshire monument, according to UFO Sightings Blog, hovering briefly over the stones before returning to the stars. The site said, ‘the UFO is black in colour and disc shaped,’ and described it as ‘Medium’ size (for UFOs), ie about 20 to 30 feet across.

In an incident from June 21, 1987, about a dozen police officers were on Summer Solstice duty at the site. Officer Phil Hutchings described how they had seen a strange object circling the skies throughout the night, in a methodical zigzagging motion, as though it was mapping the area.

They were instructed to secure the area. The Captain noticed 2 figures standing on the top steps of the object. They were about 3½' to 4' tall, and had slanting eyes and thin arms. They made no attempt to communicate.

Within 50 minutes a U.S.A.F. Sikorsky helicopter arrived and airlifted the object away.
