Witness Report taken 20/10/16 My daughter and her boyfriend were out one night talking, my daughter was outside the car and he was looking into the field behind her, they were parked on Nether Moor Road chatting when her boyfriend told her to get back in the car quickly,  They then both saw a large black muscular creature weaving all over the field as if it was chasing a rabbit.  It was on all fours at all time and was just moving fluidly and quickly chasing its prey.  They got home and were really shaken up and didn't know if it was a big cat or something else. 

One night my friend and I headed out to walk my dog, it was a summer evening but fairly late so it was getting dark out. We turned down the street which now ran through Walker's Farm and had no intention of crossing over onto the remains of the farm. Instead we followed the road all the way through which took us to a very badly lit bike path. The path ran through a wood of pine trees, they were densely planted and you could see no further than a couple of feet in front of you.  My dog, Nyla, was hesitant in walking down this path, pulling backwards and whimpering. She stalled what was no less than a dozen times until she gave in and literally pulled us through as fast as she could.  We could see the exit of the track, thankfully, and as we approached it we heard a very loud cracking noise above our heads.  My friend, Nyla and myself were all startled. First Witness Account:  I encountered a werewolf (lack of better description) in England in 1970, I was 20 yrs old when I was stationed at RAF Alconbury. I was in a secure weapons storage area when i encountered it. It seemed shocked and surprised to been caught off guard and I froze in total fright.I was armed with a .38 and never once considered using it. There was no aggression on its part. I could not comprehend what I was seeing.It is not human. It has a flat snout and large eyes.It's height is approx 5 ft and weight approx.200 lbs.It is very muscular and thin. It wore no clothing and was only moderately hairy. It ran away on its hind legs and scurried over a chain link fence and ran deep into the dense wooded area adjacent to the base. I went to our local wood to do an urban art project for uni. i had to photograph my area and collect items and make an art piece with them. so i had two cameras and my sketch book and pens. my mum is a cryptozoloogist and is doing wildman research in the area, and she came with me and helped me get in, we had to beat a path in as its really overgrown and nettles and brambles are everywhere. we walked around while mum and me collected sticks and pebbles for me to use, we got to a bit of the wood thats enclosed and quiet and there were sticks placed in the branches of the trees around us, we both laughed and right next to us was a really loud knock on a tree, we were startled but mum clapped and the knock came again just nearer but to the left. i was spooked but it went quiet again so i decided to stay and sketch. As my mum went to look for animal tracks and glyphs, I sat and sketched and  i heard a quiet voice, a whisper and a reply whispered back, this went on for about 5/10...

Thetford Forest and the surrounding woods and countryside are a popular area for people wanting to get out and about and enjoy nature, with the Little River Ouse running alongside and plenty of birds and wildlife it is an area of the UK that has a lot of visitors.  As people come to admire the Forest and her animals, some get a little more animal interaction than they were expecting.   From as far back as the 1970’s there are reports of a “bear like Creature” that roamed the woods. Bourne Wood is a quiet ancient woodland with mixed conifers and semi-natural broadleaf trees. There are many strange accounts from this wood, the visitors to this wood tell of a huge wild black dog that growls these accounts go back centuries and the reports of growls and howls from the area are usually presumed to be ghostly dogs.  Yet as most researchers will know, many of  our wildman/bigfoot accounts are lost due to lack of knowledge, reports of growls, whoops and howls in the USA would be instantly reported to many of the bigfoot sites, here in the UK the knowledge base is so small, most get reported to the paranormal databases without a second thought.  When looked at from a different angle, the reports are of a dark crouching animal, that stays within the treeline and growls at anyone who gets too close. Witness Account from Francois de Sarre I'm from the States. We've been over here for exactly two years since 2000. We live just outside of Blackburn in the Ribble Valley.   I've always had a fascination for these Hominid creatures. I've had visuals only in the western part of the states. Every State and province (Canada) has them, except Wash. D.C. They're known by many names in the US, but the most common two names are BF and Sasquatch. Saturday the 26/11/16 Four Elms Woods devon Witness Account: I walked down into my woods,at about 3pm i walked off the beaten track down in to a high sided ravine, Im following a game track that had been clearly beaten down by something,it appeared to go no where and was not easy to access ,with a brook running down the side of it. As i got to the bottom i seemed to hit a silence in the woodland. Everything was still and quiet, it was unsettling, behind me 70/80 yards in the hill a tree was shaked violently, as i spun round i could see the tree still moving but none of the other trees were moving, it was like this one on its own and everything else was still. Im sure something was ducking down in the bracken above on the hill but i was to low in the ravine to see up on top the hill. A witness confided that she had been walking alone at dusk one night near the Neolithic earthworks at the top of Lustleigh Cleave on the extreme eastern side of Dartmoor when she had seen a family of cave men, either naked and covered in hair or wrapped in the shaggy pelts of some wild animal, shambling around the stone circle at the top of the Cleave.  For all this is a strange report, when doing an area check i realised this is within a short distance of many other sightings, the area is the East Devon Area of Oustanding beauty and has a protected woodland next to the cleve area. This account was not reported as a bigfoot account, no sighting was made, just a strange set of circumstances that we see in other accounts across the UK......... So, I'm not sure where this would fit in (I am aware of similar experience, but associated with so called Bigfoot/yeti and also UFO  sightings, this also happens to be in vast areas of wilderness) anyway, I was off for a hike, just me, mum and the dog. This reports was made by a local researcher: I would like to tell you my experience at Wareham Forest at the weekend: I was bang in the middle of the wood and there was no one around except for myself, the missus and the dog. I did a long call "Bobo" style, it echoed really far. within a minute or so we saw a dark figure in the bracken at about 60 yards away...as fast as it appeared it also vanished. it freaked us out! Basically we were at the high point on top of the hill and as we were going down I decided to try to do a call because there was nobody around except for us. I did a long "Bobo" Fay type of call (Finding Bigfoot!). It echoed a lot through the valley and within a minute of that call, we were on the main path and noticed a dark figure heading towards us about 60 yards into the thick bracken. The Difference Between Want And Need In the beginning days we were as one, we lived together, traded together, and helped each other to learn, there was peace in all lands, and the earth had enough to fill us, for all we have are basic needs, the need for food, water and shelter, after that everything else is want. But then the cold days came, the sun hid her beauty and you humans got sick, your children and elders were hit worse, so we understood your need for shelter, and we were happy as you built them, then the light and noise in the sky brought fire and this helped you too, through the cold years, but the want of things never stopped, then you needed a soft grass bed and furs to wear and tools to make your life easier, but each new tool made you greedy for more, why have a grass bed, when a fine wooden one would make you feel richer, as your need of more and more grew your sense of self got smaller and smaller, the love you had for the earth started to peter away slowly ...
